About VX Resources

VX Resources Canada Inc. is a Canadian processor and supplier of exfoliated vermiculite, operating from our production facility in Gananoque, Ontario.

Established in 2022, VX Resources was founded to provide a dependable Canadian source of processed vermiculite for commercial, horticultural and industrial customers.

Canadian Vermiculite Processing

VX Resources processes crude vermiculite at our Gananoque facility using a dedicated exfoliation and material-handling system.

Crude vermiculite is sourced from established and reputable international mineral producers and processed in Ontario into lightweight exfoliated vermiculite for a wide range of applications.

Our principal commercial grades include Superfine, Fine and Medium vermiculite, with additional grades available for application-specific requirements.

Commercial Supply

VX Resources supplies customers ranging from horticultural and growing-media businesses to industrial users, distributors and other commercial operations.

Standard commercial products are available in 4 cu. ft. bags, 15-bag skids and 30-bag full pallets, with larger-volume and recurring supply arrangements available for commercial customers.

Our location in Eastern Ontario provides convenient access to customers throughout Ontario, neighbouring provinces and wider Canadian markets. From our Gananoque facility, VX Resources serves businesses in Kingston, Brockville, Ottawa, Belleville, Smiths Falls, Napanee, Toronto, the Greater Toronto Area and the Niagara region, as well as customers across Canada. Shipping to additional destinations is available according to customer requirements.

Garden Clouds™

VX Resources is also the company behind Garden Clouds™, our Canadian processed vermiculite brand developed for horticultural, growing-media and other packaged applications.

Garden Clouds™ products are processed and packaged at our Gananoque, Ontario facility and are supplied to garden centres, nurseries, growers and other customers through retail and commercial channels.

The Garden Clouds™ range complements our broader VX Resources commercial offering, allowing us to serve customers requiring both packaged horticultural products and larger-volume vermiculite supply.

Focused on Reliable Supply

Our objective is straightforward: to provide customers with dependable access to quality exfoliated vermiculite, responsive service and practical technical support.

We work with established mineral suppliers and maintain flexibility in sourcing so that customers are not dependent upon a single geological source.

Because vermiculite is a naturally occurring mineral, characteristics can vary between mineral sources and production batches. For specification-sensitive applications, VX Resources works with customers to identify the appropriate grade and applicable technical documentation.

Our Gananoque operation provides the processing, packaging and commercial supply capabilities required to serve Canadian customers from within Canada.
